While traditional hotel options on the south end of Whidbey Island are limited, there are many options available on Airbnb and VRBO. Whidbey Island is a popular tourist destination in the summer, so we recommend booking accommodations early.
Saratoga Inn
The Saratoga Inn has 16 guestrooms and is brief walk from downtown Langley. A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and free self parking is available onsite. This hotel is 10 minutes from the wedding venue.
The Inn at Langley
The Inn at Langley in Langley has 28 guestrooms and is located right on the beach next in downtown Langley. A complimentary local cuisine breakfast is served daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and free self parking is available onsite. This hotel is 9 minutes from the wedding venue.
Comforts of Whidbey
The Comforts of Whidbey has 6 guestrooms located above their winery and tasting room. A full farm style breakfast is served every Saturday & Sunday morning and a deluxe continental breakfast Monday through Friday. This hotel is 12 minutes from the wedding venue.
Transportation
For those traveling from out of state, the closest airport is SeaTac (Seattle). We highly recommend renting a car from the airport so that you can explore and enjoy all the wonderful things Washington has to offer. For those that do not wish to rent a car, there is a shuttle service from SeaTac to the south end of Whidbey Island and local taxis to get around on the island. We recommend using the taxi services as Uber & Lift are not readily available.
Mukilteo Ferry Terminal
If you are driving from Seattle, the fastest route to Langley is to take the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry. The ferry runs roughly every 30 minutes from 5:00am - 1:00am leaving from Mukilteo (4:40am - 12:30am from Clinton). The cost is $13.30 for a standard car + driver and $6.00 for each additional adult. You cannot make reservations for this ferry and there may be a significant wait (up to 2 hr) during peak travel times. The WSDOT app can be used to see the ferry schedule and current wait times.
Whidbey SeaTac Shuttle & Charter
Whidbey SeaTac Shuttle & Charter is a locally owned and operated company that provides scheduled airport shuttle services. Schedules, fares, and reservation information can be found on their website.
